Our Story

2012

Our first wedding… we chose an exotic location in Bali.

It all began when our founder, Aleksander Cow, was planning his own wedding. As someone who loves to travel and explore new cultures, he and his fiancée wanted to have a destination wedding in a beautiful and exotic location. However, they soon realized that planning a wedding in a foreign country can be quite daunting and overwhelming, with so many details to take care of and logistical challenges to overcome.

Despite the challenges, Aleksander and his fiancée were determined to have their dream wedding, and so they began researching and planning their destination wedding in Bali. It was an amazing experience, but they also learned a lot about the complexities of planning a wedding in a foreign country.

2016

We realized we could assist others in finding their exotic wedding locations…

After the wedding, Aleksander realized that there must be many other couples who would love to have a destination wedding but would be deterred by the difficulties and uncertainties involved in planning one. That’s when he had the idea of starting a business that would take care of all the details and logistics of planning a destination wedding, leaving couples free to enjoy their special day without any stress or worries.

2019

Our mission…

And thus, Overseas Weddings was born. Our mission is to help couples create their dream wedding in a beautiful and exotic location, while providing exceptional service and attention to detail every step of the way. We believe that everyone deserves to have the wedding of their dreams, no matter where they are in the world.
